Account Executive
The Role
General
- Prepare meeting agendas
- Issue clear, prompt and accurate contact reports
- Support the Intel team in the preparation of all presentations
- Prepare professional, articulate and error-free written and verbal communication at all times
- Demonstrate professional and friendly telephone manners
- Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities – including being responsible for setting up meetings and meeting rooms, catering, equipment, diaries, taxis etc.
- Work with the creative and strategy teams to ensure that stimulus material is produced, sourced and delivered on time
The client relationship
- Develop a close and productive relationship with junior Intel clients
- Fulfill basic client requests promptly and efficiently
- Communicate all other client requests to the Intel team
- Develop partner and client relationships across the world
Marketing / brand knowledge
- Develop an understanding of the basics of international marketing and the client’s marketing objectives
- Develop an understanding of the role and potential of (post) digital in the marketing mix
- Develop an understanding of Intel’s brand, market share, and relevant competitor activity
- Develop an understanding of the role and application of research
Financial management
- Understand the importance of prompt and efficient billing and its effect on agency cash flow
- Inform the MRM finance department of all work to be billed on project/deliverable completion
- Raise all billing and financial queries to the relevant person immediately
Minimum requirements
It is anticipated that the Account Executive will have gained a 2:1 honors degree or equivalent.
Essential Skills
- To be enthusiastic about digital media and marketing and communications
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Highly organised and capable of coping with heavy workloads
Preferred
Fluency in German, Russian or French is preferred, but not essential.
